Project description
The Brooklyn Nets & TENz have partnered for Pride Night. Hosted by TENz Founder Sailey Williams, a special halftime performance by the Brooklynettes paying homage to the 5 elements of Vogue with the House of Miyake Mugler and Honey Balenciaga.
NYC nightlife has been the center of queer artistic expression, from the 1969 Stonewall Uprising to the creation of the Ballroom Scene, and the rise of Club Kid culture. By centering this theme, TENz chose to spotlight 5 beacons from different areas of Brooklyn nightlife that are keeping the culture and community thriving.
Leading up to the main event, SWM/TENz curated a 7 event alliance with LGBT bars in NYC, creating a series of giveaway activations to expand the conversation and awareness of Pride Night.
Expanding on this awareness, SWM/TENz invited key influencers to VIP seating, consulting on “snackable social media content” including GRWM and recap posts.
Gen Y and Gen Z have a mindset of not being bound by traditional approaches, and because of TENz demographic intersectionality, niche content, New York audience and event offerings it checked several boxes for the NET’s Pride Night target audience.
