HIV Stops With Me is a multifaceted, national social-marketing campaign that aims to prevent the spread of HIV and reduce stigma associated with the disease. HIV Stops With Me has been nominated for Best Advertising Campaign by GLAAD and received a Webby Award for Best Health Website.
THE ASSIGNMENT: STRATEGIC INTENT
HIV Stops With Me has established an amazing Out Of Home and Programatic digital campaign with SLAY; SWM’s goal was to maximize on its success by building awareness, curiosity and interest through organic appearing placements within influencers & niche media outlets.
ACTIVATION:
The overall approach is a comprehensive social and digital led media strategy and creative recommendation based on strategic insights, data & analytics to inform and drive an effective communications strategy. The February through March trial initiative led to over 75,000 views and 20,000 engagements. SWM consulted on HIV Stops With Me’s curation of sharable, “snackable social content” to retain users from those engagements.
